The I2R-264E/TI provides a production-ready H.264 encoder solution at up to full D1 resolution using the tried-and-true digital video processor technology based on Texas Instruments’ DaVinci™ series of DSPs. It is a scalable and programmable DSP solution optimised to match the price, performance and rich feature requirements of a broad spectrum of digital video surveillance systems.

By integrating the H.264/AVC video encoder with standard-compliant RTP/RTSP streaming technologies, the compressed video can easily be viewed using standard off-the-shelf media players such as Apple QuickTime, VideoLAN VLC, and RealPlayer on popular mobile phones. Together with a built-in HTTP server, fine-grained encoder parameter settings can be remotely configured through a standard web browser.
